Whatever your reason for taking CBD oil, why don’t you consider vaping it? There are various benefits of CBD, and it is considered one of the best ways of taking CBD due to the fact it has a high bioavailability of around 50-60% and is fast-acting. But how do you mix CBD oil with an e-liquid? This guide explains all.
What is the best way to mix CBD oil with an e-liquid?
If you want to mix CBD oil with an e-liquid rather than buy a premade e-liquid, you’ll be pleased to know that it’s a very simple process.
Most manufacturers advise you to mix one drop of CBD oil into your vape, along with your preferred vape juice. However, if you’re new to the world of CBD and vaping, you might want to be more accurate about the process at the beginning.
Some key things you may want to consider are:
- The strength of CBD oil
- The weight of the individual taking the CBD
- Body chemistry – how a person’s body can tolerate CBD
When starting to mix CBD oil with an e-liquid, it’s best to keep the dose low to start with, and gradually build up the dosage as you go – just like when you are taking a CBD oil tincture. Experts advise vaping 2-12 mg of CBD per 10kg of body weight, but remember this is trial and error and differs from person to person.

Different ways of mixing CBD oil with an e-liquid
- Purchase your favourite e-liquid as a shortfill and add CBD
- Add CBD booster straight into your vape
To find out how much CBD oil you should add to your vape, ask yourself: How much CBD oil do you want to vape daily?
This will give you an idea about how much you should take in each top-up.
For example, if you have a 10ml bottle of CBD oil that contains 500mg of liquid, 1ml of the liquid is equivalent to 50mg of CBD. This means that if you only want a 10mg dose of CBD, divide the 1ml into 5 parts and only add 0.2ml of CBD oil into your tank each day. Top up the rest of the tank with your favourite e-liquid.
As always, before taking CBD oil, be sure to ensure you are buying from a reputable CBD company to ensure that the CBD you are taking is 100% safe and free from THC (the psychoactive substance in the cannabis plant), otherwise, you may be breaking the law.
